Who would think that wallpaper and meatloaf go together. Well, not really, but it has been exciting around here this evening. It started with going to the gym, grocery store and determined to cook dinner. Sounds good, except I also had a bee in my bonnet all day to use a new steamer to start removing the last of the wallpaper in my house. So, after running through the store, working out and racing home, I unloaded the groceries, turned the oven on, ( my new oven has to heat up 30 minutes otherwise things don't cook right) put the meatloaf in, started the water for Amish noodles and FINALLY got the new steamer. Figured it out, turned it on and started taking wall paper down in the powder room. All is good, dinner was good except the middle of the meatloaf wasn't completely cooked so, while I cleaned the dishes, heated up the steamer again, I put the meatloaf back in the oven, then back to the powder room steaming the wall paper. ( it has been there 15 years, Yikes). Ok if you have ever taken off wallpaper it becomes addicting. I couldn't stop pealing. So much fun After more than an hour, I said, that's it and Bo and I cleaned up. I headed into the kitchen and smelled the meatloaf. Let's just say, the meatloaf is fully cooked now. Oh, well no meatloaf sandwiches tomorrow. It's ok, because I really don't like left over meatloaf.
I want to tell you about the Amish noodles, but both Bo and I are tired so I'll save that story for another post. Check out how much wallpaper I got down, the paint colors I'm thinking of and of course, the meatloaf.
